Quirkascade Account Terms

Who provides the game

Quirkascade is published by Infinitum Imagery LLC, using the software brand Infinitum Pittsburgh. Contact us at kdoyle@infinitumimagery.com about these Terms or your account. These Terms govern Quirkascade accounts and online services. Guest puzzle play is available without creating an account.

Account eligibility and your agreement

Accounts are initially available only to people aged 18 or older who have legal capacity to enter this agreement where they live. If local law requires a higher age or other conditions, you must meet those conditions too. Do not create an account for a child or use another person's identity. Age screening uses your own statement, not government-ID verification. Account eligibility is separate from the game's content rating.

Account security

Provide an email address you control and verify it before using online competition, friends or cloud saves. Keep your password private and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may reset your password or sign out in Orbit Online. We do not ask you to send us your password by email.

Permission to play

You receive a personal, non-exclusive permission to use the game and online services for their intended purposes. The game, branding and original assets remain owned by their respective rights holders. This does not restrict rights that applicable law gives you, including permitted interoperability or other lawful uses.

Fair play and other players

Do not harass others, send spam, impersonate someone, exploit security flaws, manipulate accounts or referrals, submit falsified results, or use automation to manufacture competitive scores or rewards. You can block or report a player by their public player code. Reports are reviewed by the game owner; submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome.

Rankings, rewards and progress

Public rankings use server-verified journey and daily results. Local scores, practice and precision-trial records do not automatically become ranked scores. Rankings, seasons, availability and cosmetic rewards can change as the game develops. Scores and earned cosmetics are not money, property redeemable for cash, or a promise of a prize. Referral badges have no cash value and are subject to the eligibility rules shown in the game.

Saving and deleting

Device progress can be lost if you clear app or browser data. Optional cloud backups require an account and a connection. Automatic backup is not an immediate guarantee of synchronization; conflicts pause uploads until you choose which save to keep. You may export available account data and delete your account in Orbit Online. Deleting an account removes online progress and connections and does not clear device progress. You can use deletion and data-access controls without agreeing to updated Terms.

Price, advertising and future paid features

This release has no active advertising, purchases or subscriptions. No payment is required to keep playing; the retry flow includes a free wait. Accepting these Terms does not authorize a charge, recurring subscription, advertising tracking or marketing messages. If paid features are introduced, their price, benefits, renewal terms, cancellation method and required consents must be presented separately before purchase. Store and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.

Availability and enforcement

We may maintain, update or discontinue online features, correct invalid scores, and restrict accounts that misuse the service, with notice and reasons where appropriate and required by law. Contact kdoyle@infinitumimagery.com to ask for review of an account decision. We may act immediately to address security incidents, unlawful activity or harm. We do not promise uninterrupted service or preservation of every online feature indefinitely.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer guarantees, applicable privacy rights, or liability that applicable law prohibits us from excluding. The service may contain errors, and online availability depends on your device, connection and service providers. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to participate in proceedings where the law permits them.

Changes

The current version and effective date appear here. Material account-term changes will be presented for a new affirmative acceptance before continued use of affected online services. We do not treat silence or a previous account as acceptance of a new version. If you decline, guest play and account deletion/data-access controls remain available.

Public usernames

Choose a public username that does not impersonate another person or the service, disclose private information, or contain abusive or unlawful content. Usernames are case-insensitively unique and appear with your verified scores and social profile. Other players can report your player code through the safety controls. We may remove a username that violates these Terms.
